Our team at the Wonderland Makarora Lodge is delighted to be based upon the ‘timeless lands’ of the Makarora. Based amongst the ancient river valleys and snow-capped mountains of the Mt Aspiring National Park, there’s no better way to explore the region than by skimming the 50 kilometres of the Wilkin and Makarora Rivers. Armed with a brand new fleet of boats, the experience of shallow water jet boating is like no other.
While skimming the rivers, you’ll get a chance to delve deeper into the history and geology of the area, thanks to informative commentary from our experienced drivers. The Makarora and Wanaka region is calling your name – so pack a towel, a swimsuit and take the plunge!
